Planting seeds. Growing roots. bearing fruit.

FIBC Copenhagen is a "family of families" gathered together from around the world to fulfill the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20) and to live out the Great Commandments (Matt. 22:36-40). With these goals in mind, we have developed ministries to help equip and encourage our family to grow in their relationships UP (with God), IN (with other believers), and OUT (with the world).

to learn more about one of the following ministries, please contact the team leader indicated below.

LIFE GROUPS are community groups that study the Bible together and share their day to day lives with one another. There are numerous FIBC Life Groups meeting throughout Copenhagen and exploring a variety of study topics. Because of the intimate nature of the small group setting, Life Groups are the best way for us to grow together in love, accountability, and friendship with fellow believers. Click here for a list of active FIBC Life Groups in the Copenhagen area. If you have any questions please email pastors(at)fibc.dk.

YOUTH & FAMILY MINISTRY at FIBC is rooted in the belief that the Church should come alongside the parents in the discipling of youth (See Deut. 11:18-33). With that as our core philosophy, FIBC is encouraging and equipping our church's youth and their families through a number of ministry programs and activities. You can learn much more on the Youth & Family Ministry page. Email our pastor with any questions regarding FIBC's Youth & Family Ministry, tconrad.pastor(at)fibc.dk.

CONNECT is FIBC's ministry to and for university-age students. With each new season and semester the format of CONNECT is ever-evolving but the ministry always includes open social activities, peer discipleship, and LIFE Groups with young adults. If you are a student interested in learning more, email us today at pastors(at)fibc.dk.

CHURCH PLANTING is one of our objectives written into our Constitution. We financially support missionaries who are planting churches, we partner together with the International Baptist Convention, and we are currently in partnership with church planters Christian and Stephanie Roth as they plant New Song Church (Ny Sang Kirken). If you are interested in participating with them or learning more about their ministry, visit their website or email Christian today at cjchristianroth(a)gmail.com.

D-GROUPS are discipleship groups that meet weekly for a set season and consist of 2-3 men or 2-3 women. Each group has one leader that has been through a training session to use a simple Bible study method and encourage Spiritual growth. Each weekly meeting consists of celebration, accountability, learning and sharing about how to live out the Bible lesson for the week. The members of the D Groups are encouraged and expected to become a leader of a new D Group the following season.

THE PRAYER TEAM are faithful to cover the church, the city, and the individual and group needs of FIBC with prayer. Whether praying for the nations or for the sick and elderly - the prayer team is committed to lifting praise, requests, and thanksgiving to the Lord. The Prayer Team meets to pray together before the FIBC Worship Service every Sunday and you are always welcome to join in any Prayer Team Meeting. You can also email the Prayer Team with specific requests for prayer at prayer(at)fibc.dk.

THE WOMEN'S MINISTRY is led by a team of women dedicated to nurturing a caring community of women who are growing in Christ, encouraging one another and being built up in love, faith and hope. Events and activities are carefully and prayerfully planned to strengthen their friendships and encourage Spiritual growth. If you would like to join the team or find out more about Women's Ministry events and activities, please email Kim at kcnielsen7(at)gmail.com.

THE FELLOWSHIP TEAM is committed to the active fellowship of the 'many nations, one family' of FIBC. This team plans and coordinates opportunities for the church to come together in Christian fellowship through: special events, potluck meals, and the weekly fellowship hour that follows every FIBC Sunday worship service. Several teams take turns at being responsible for Sunday's fellowship hour and we are always in need of new team members. To join a fellowship team, please email Cyndi at cyndi(at)yak.net.

WORSHIP TEAM members are responsible for a number of things that happen every week in order to make our FIBC worship services possible: as ushers, audio/visual techs, greeters, singers and musicians. We love worshipping together at FIBC and we rely on many servant leaders to help make our Sundays such a special part of our week. If you are able, willing, and interested in serving through any element of the Worship Team email us today at pastors(at)fibc.dk.

RIGHTNOW MEDIA is an online streaming library of Bible studies that all members and attenders at FIBC can can obtain access to and enjoy. If you are a member or regularly attending FIBC, and you are interested in accessing the resources, send us an email at pastors(at)fibc.dk.
